How to Install leaked Android 4.3 Test Firmware on GT-i9505 Samsung Galaxy S4?

SamMobile on Tuesday shared the I9505XXUEMI8 version of android 4.3 firmware for downloading. This firmware is meant for GT-I9505 models and is stable and free from bugs. With this firmware users will be able to enjoy apps like Samsung Wallet and Samsung Knox. The performance of the apps has been improved, and all those defects in the Android 4.2.2 have been reduced. Added to this user can enjoy an improved UI with upgraded reading mode, color reproduction, keyboard options so that texts appear sharper.

Yet it needs to be mentioned that Android 4.3 update may be soon available for the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3 and S4 officially. For the time being the software are under heavy development because Samsung is going to include some added features to it.

As for the Android 4.3 firmware, test has been conducted on the Samsung devices, and they have emerged as firm and stable. The devices have also shown a notable improvement in terms of performance and speed.

Note: 1. the testing firmware won’t increase the device’s binary counter, and it will also not hamper your warranty.

2. It is a pre-released firmware and is not an official version released from Samsung.

3. However, the testing firmware is fully tested on Samsung devices and is working perfectly like any other firmware that is released officially.

Instructions for Installing Android 4.3 Firmware on your GT-i9505 Galaxy S4 

Step 1:

Unzip or extract the files of firmware.

Step 2:

Now from here you may download Odin3 version v3.09.

Step 3:

Do the extraction of Odin .ZIP file and open the downloaded file (Odin3 v3.09).

Step 4:

Now, you should press three buttons all along – Home button, Power button and Volume button. Keep holding all three buttons simultaneously in order to restart your gadget in Download Mode.

Step 5:

Keep connected the phone till you will be getting a blue sign in Odin.

Step 6:

Add AP_I9505XXUEMI8_1715731_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 to AP

Step 7:

Add BL_I9505XXUEMI8_1715731_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar to BL

Step 8:

Add CP_I9505XXUEMI8_1715731_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 to CP

Step 9:

Add CSC_OXA_I9505OXAEMI8_1715731_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 to CSC.

Step 10:

Also ensure that you do not tick the re-partition.

Step 11:

Wait for few minutes after clicking the Start button.

Step 12:

If you face any problem with the firmware (such as Bootloop or any FC etc.) then you should press these three buttons – Home and Power and vol up button for booting in the recovery mode.

Step 13:

Now select Wipe or Factory Reset (All the data including from the internal SD card of the device will be erased).

Step 14:

Reboot your device and enjoy the Android 4.3 Test Firmware!

Caution: Even though test firmware is in the form of leaks it is never recommended for the devices. But if you are interested in trying the firmware you must do so on your own risk and keep the complete backup of the device ready with you.
