Android 5.0 Lollipop available for Samsung Galaxy S5 users in Australia


In Australia is now available the Android 5.0 Lollipop software update for Samsung Galaxy S5 devices.

A report from Android Authority told us that after the Android Lollipop was released in Europe, it’s now available for users from Australia. The update however will be rolled out in phases according to the report. It will take some time to arrive to all Galaxy S5 devices all over the country.

Enhancements brought along by the Android 5.0 Lollipop update

A new UI, user interface, is offered by the Android 5.0 Lollipop software update.

A new lock screen theme similar to the one found on Galaxy Note 4 will be brought along with the Android Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5. The fingerprint sensor will be improved by the Android 5.0 Lollipop update and the users are free to check this new feature.

Along with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS update come others improved features for Galaxy S5 devices like the following: the battery life is improved, for screenshots and storied copied information/data there is available a new clipboard tool, the native apps are revamped and the Galaxy S5 device performance is enhanced.
