EVO Championship Series Schedule Released

The annual esports event Evolution Championship Series, or EVO for short, 2019 edition has started on July 2nd and is going to continue until July 4th. EVO 2019 is being held in Las Vegas and is hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center, as it did since 2016. Competitors from over the world are coming to participate in the battle, each year seeing an increase in the number of contestants.

What video games is EVO 2019 going to feature?

Just before the start of the esports event, the organizers released the schedule of the competition, including the timetable, the games lineup, panels, and also new DLC announcements.

The games that EVO 2019 will feature are Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11, Soulcalibur VI, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], Dragon Ball FighterZ, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, and Samurai Shodown. Super Smash Bros. had more than 3,500 participants, is the first tournament of the game to have so many entrants.

On August 1st, there was an official pre-party at Moorea Beach Club, as a kickoff party before the start of the event. Officially, the tournament has opened its doors for the competitors at 8 a.m. on July 2nd, and at 10 a.m. the competition began until 8 p.m. The second day, the players were expected at the same hour. While being the second day of the competition, there had been some tournament finals of Unist, DragonballFighterZ, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11. In the final day, there are four finals scheduled: BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Good news is that fans are able to watch the esports event for free on the streaming site Twitch.tv, due to the competition being broadcasted across various distinctive streams.
