Samsung Galaxy Alpha Full Specifications Leaked (Snapdragon 805 Out, 801 In); Features, Release Date and Price Listed
A fresh leak about a marketing document from Samsung is reaching all over the world. The document is apparently about the next Samsung Galaxy Alpha. In the document are presented full features and specifications about the Galaxy Alpha. The metal-clad Samsung Galaxy Alpha will definitely be a serious contender for the Apple’s iPhone 6, who’s waited to be launch in September.
The information that the documents contains is mostly the same with the ones that were already rumored. In the document, the Galaxy Alpha will have a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display, as the 4.7-inch on Apple’s iPhone 6. A Portuguese website TecMundo stated that the screen resolution will be 720p.
The processors of the Galaxy Alpha will be a superior octa-core, Exynos 5, pr a quad-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. In different regions will be different processors. In the early rumors, though, it was said that the Galaxy Alpha will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha will have 2GB of RAM and internal storage capacity of 32GB or 64GB. The microSD slot will not come with the device.
Others features are the heart rate monitor and the support for fingerprint sensor. According to Mobile Burn, the home button will double as a heart rate monitor the same as the Samsung Galaxy S5. The connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.0, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE are also on the device.
The camera of the Galaxy Alpha will feature a 12MP rear facing shooter and a 2.1MP the front-facing one. The Galaxy Alpha will work on Android v4.4 KitKat OS and will house a nano-sim, according to the document.
The battery unit is not so impressive, will be of 1860 mAh. The price of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be 2399 Brazilian Reals that in US means $1052 and in AU means $1137. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is expected at the end of August of in the early September.
