It is said that Apple work with Beats on a brand new paid streaming service that will be a fierce rival for Spotify and others.
Mark Gurman, 9to5Mac reliable received some information from insiders that are familiar with the Apple music plans. Apple doesn’t want to use the Beats app that is already existed, but it wants to develop a new app with the help of the Beats content and technology. With this new Beats app, Apple plans to replace the current music app on all the iOS devices.
According to some sources, Apple is also working on an updated iTunes app for PC’s and on a new Apple TV app.
There is no official price for the service yet, but could be considered per month $7.99. At this considered price the Apple Beats could be less expensive than Google Play Music, Spotify and also the current Beats Music. All of those come at a price of $9.99.
It is interesting also what Gurman stated that Apple is working also on an Android version of music application. This is big if is true because this will be the first app that will arrive for Android devices from Apple and with Apple name.
According to the sources, Apple plans to launch this new Android service app somewhere in March, but a WWDC June kick-off sound like a real possibility for the launch.
