After successfully launched the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A3 devices, Samsung managed to finally launch Galaxy Grand Max, a selfie-focused phone. Samsung Galaxy Grand Max was available in South Korea starting to January 9. The price in American dollars is 290$.
The Grand Max smartphone has also the faux-leather design just like in the Galaxy series. This is a trademark-design when it comes to Galaxy series devices. The key specifications of Samsung Galaxy Grand Max are the 5.25-inch IPS LCD display, very large, and the screen resolution is 720 x 1,280 pixels. The combination of the display made a pixel density of 282 ppi. If we look at the size of the smartphone we will also notice that the device is just 7.9mm thick and 161g weight. Galaxy Grand Max runs a processor of 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Cortex-A52 with 1.2GHz and 1.5GB RAM.
When it comes to its software, Galaxy Grand Max don’t run the latest Android version, but Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone, who you must notice is budget friendly, supports a connectivity of LTE Cat 4. The internal storage is enough if I might say so, 16 GB and support an expansion up to 64GB.
Now to inspect the camera, a big one if I might add so, the rear facing camera comes with a LED flash and is 13 MP and the front camera is perfect to tacking selfies, is 5 MP. This smartphone was specially launched by Samsung to focus on selfies, the wide angle lens are 120 degree. The camera has others features too, like panorama support; HDR; face and smile detection; touch focus and geo-tagging. Voice operation is also allowed on the device. The battery unit is good 2,500mAh.
The device was launched only in South Korea and nothing was announced by Samsung about its worldwide launch. So keep in touch for further update that we will come with, because the device is budget-friendly and it definitely worthed.
