Final Fantasy 7 Remake is the only game Final Fantasy aficionados have eyes for. Players of Final Fantasy had to wait a long time before being rewarded for their patience. The first time Final Fantasy 7 Remake was announced was 2015. Since then, 4 long years went by and no other information was published by the developers.
Square Enix reveals the date and information about the remake
The developers, Square Enix, have revealed recently that the Remake is scheduled to be released in March 2020. While it might not be just as quick as fans would have wanted, they will have to wait a little longer, but not as long as they had to since 2015. Square Enix decided to make the announcement at an E3 press conference by also scheduling a huge showing of the game during a FINAL FANTASY VII Symphonic Reunion concert in Dolby Theatre, LA.
After that, the company surprised fans and players alike with the first ever demo of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake they were able to play. It was the only place to play the game, so those lucky enough to attend the event, got even luckier. It was also reported that at Gamescon 2019, which will take place between August 21st and August 24th, Square Enix will prepare 72 stations for participants to play the demo, a first time for anyone in the gaming industry.
Attendees also were given an in-depth look at the gameplay and setting of the game. It was revealed that the first game in this project will be set in the iconic city of Midgar, and will be a fully standalone game that acts as the perfect starting point to the series. Along with unforgettable characters and a powerful story, Final Fantasy VII Remake features a hybrid battle system that merges real-time action with strategic, command-based combat.
The developers also revealed that the demo will be released soon enough and that it can be played in Europe.
