As of now, we still don’t have any pieces of information with regards to the GTA 6 release date. But there is a job listing from Rockstar that gives us some hints about the release date of the next game from the series.
A new job ad states that Rockstar is looking for an “Environment Artist.” At the first glance, the job listing from Rockstar comes with some fantastic pieces of information.
Are we talking about GTA, or some another classic?
One of the parts of the job is to create and texture the environment assets for the best open-world environments in the industry. This does not clearly say GTA 6. There is a good chance that the best open world environment is talking about GTA.
Could this environment actually be America?
As you probably know, Bully 2 is in the making right now, and there are rumors that say that it will be released in the fall of 2020. This comes from Polygon, who accidentally posted a URL with the release date.
The full responsibilities of the job are:
Model, texture and create collision in 3D for game environments; work with the programmers and in other departments, as well, to make sure that the assets are fully optimized. They should also Participate in R&D of new techniques in order to implement into production pipeline. They also need to make sure that the artistic style is consistent, and that it has defined a visual style for the game.
Is this about GTA 6 next-gen?
“Join our team to create next-generation worlds” is the job description. The term next-gen is an open one, and it also sends allusions to the next generation of consoles. We’re are talking about Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Project Scarlett.
