It is expected that the new Diablo game will be fully revealed next year. Fans of the series have started to express their desires in regards to what they want to see (or actually hear) in the new game, and for good reason.
Years of waiting
Believe it or not, Diablo 3 was launched back in 2012, maybe a bit rushed, as it was reportedly broken at first, but as time passed, updates fixed everything that was wrong, making players happy and craving for more action in the RPG form.
However, Blizzcon 2018 was a bit of a disappointment because people expected an announcement for Diablo 4, but instead were presented with Diablo: Immortal, a game made for smartphones, but not developed by Blizzard.
On the way
After lots of negative backlash and pressure, Blizzard promised that Diablo 4 is on its way, and plenty of people decided to express their opinions about how the following game of the Diablo series will be like.
People want… soundtracks?
Some people really care a lot about the game’s soundtrack: It seems like most people agree that Diablo 2 featured the best soundtrack and they hope that Matt Uelmen, composer of the soundtrack of Diablo 2 will take part in producing the soundtrack for the next game. Unfortunately, he left Blizzard in 2009 so it’s not very likely that he will be on the soundtrack team of Blizzard soon.
Russel Brower was in charge of the soundtrack of Diablo 3. He worked on multiple expansions of World of Warcraft for Blizzard and is the producer of Diablo 3’s Reaper of Souls Expansion soundtrack, which was extremely well received by gamers worldwide.
He is expected to be the main soundtrack composer for the new game.
