The release date of PS5 might be more than a year away, but at least we have the official confirmation about one of the consoles launch games.
Dying Light 2 a is cross-generation title.
Titles such as Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield and GTA 6 are expected to make their appearances on PS5 in the future, but as of now, Techland has given us a first new game as a guarantee. In a recent interview, an insider from Techland said that the release for Dying Light 2 would be here for different generations. This means that it will launch on PS4 and Xbox One in 2020, but also on PS5 and Xbox Scarlett. When asked about the possibility of a cross-gen release, he said that the company always has its eyes on the new toys. He then said that the plan ever since the beginning of production was to make Dying Light 2 a cross-generation title.
Up until now, Microsoft and Sony have not confirmed the backward compatibility for the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett. But the comments made by the insider show that Dying Light 2 will come with a standalone release on the consoles, with loading speeds and vastly superior visuals.
Dying Light 2 is an open-world first-person adventure set in a city that was ravaged by zombies.
“It’s been 15 years since humanity lost to the virus” .this is what the Dying Light 2 description says. The game comes with a first-person combat with free running, scavenging based on survival and parkour. The last great human comes in an infected, unforgiving world, from a modern dark age.
When it’s daytime, the starving survivors and the bandits roam around the streets, looking for scraps, or for people to take with them, by violence, if necessary. At night, they hide to prey on the living.
