New details of the latest version of Galaxy Tab S6 and new appreciations for the last year version of Galaxy Tab S4.
Price and Release Date
The Galaxy Tab S6 will be available only as a Wi-Fi unit and will be found for sale on September 6th in the US, at a $649 price (a base model with a capacity of 6 RAM and a storage of 128 GB). It’s still unknown when will the LTE version will be available, though.
The Galaxy Tab S4, however, was available on August 2018, and now you can find it at the same price of $649, making you question if it’s reliable to get the new version or go with this model, instead.
All About Design
Probably the most appreciated thing is the S Pen, followed by a restored Book Cover Keyboard with an additional touchpad. The Tab S6 is significantly thinner, coming with a 5,7mm dimension compared to its predecessor. Another thing it’s the weight, 420g vs. S4’s 480g.
For accessories, developers picked for S6 the S Pen incorporated on the back and S4 is available with an optional keyboard.
The S Pen comes now in a different design, having an ovoid shape, which can also perform Air Gestures. The new Book Cover has two incredible parts, one that can be tossed aside the keypad, and other that helps you switch the modes easily.
Display
The new S6 comes with an amazing upgrade of being less wide by 5mm, although the screen is still 10,5 inches. The only new feature, though, is the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Camera
S6 has upgraded its ultrawide lens by enhancing it to 5MP in order to increase its photography.
How about performance and battery
The Galaxy Tab S6 comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, fact that will enhance the performance by 86 %, while the S4 came with a 835 one, running on 4GB of RAM. The battery will benefit from a 7,040mAh, a bigger difference from the S4 model which came with 7,300mAh, both having fast-charging.
