The company announced that their next model, a base type 911, will make quite an impression and will let the connoisseurs in awe. After all the announcements and uncomplete news about its release, Porsche decided to unveil some of the most interesting details, the new models will offer us. In a way, maybe not so new, but surely up to date and more cooler than the previous ones.
After the unveil of Carrera and Carrera Cabrio, we found out that their prices will be just a little bit different, $97,400 for the first one, and $110,200 for the other one. What will be different this time from the AWD models is that the rear-wheel-drive Carrera and Carrera Cab will now come with slimmer fenders. The base models will be precisely done, with a pair of circle tube exists at the Carrera S, and an only rectangular exit for Carrera. The round double exhaust tips are available as a Sport Exhaust, just like the precedents.
Even if the new 911 has the same 991, 2 engine, being turbocharged flat-six, it didn’t make it less beautifully displayed. With those turbochargers, the power is assured completely, up to 9 horses to 379, and 331 lb-ft of torque. The transmission, however, will come hard at us this time by providing a redone 8-speed PDK one, and more clutch from bigger and wider tires, making from Carrera 2 tenths time of a second faster to sixty than the outbound car, developing the run in 4 seconds level when armed with Sport Chrono package. The speed will reach an incredible 182 miles per hour.
This restatement of the new 911 chassis is an additional thing in a long list of upcoming including, of course, the AWD models of the non-S Carrera.
